One Post Office Square

Anchor Line Partners and JLL launched the redevelopment of One Post Office Square this year, a project that will replace the concrete facade of the downtown tower with glass and marks among the first times — if not the first — that a crane has sat atop a high-rise tower in Boston. The Gensler-designed project will be complete in 2021. It was prompted in part by Putnam Investments’ headquarters relocation to nearby 100 Federal St., and law firm Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP plans to move out as well. Law firm Sullivan decided to renew its 85,000-square-foot lease in the tower. There will be 775,000 square feet of availability at the tower when it’s complete in 2021.
